Life Without Limits by Nick Vujicic

lifewithoutlimitsbookjacket“Born without arms or legs, Nick Vujicic overcame his disabilities to live an independent, rich, fulfilling, and “ridiculously good” life while serving as a role model for anyone seeking true happiness. Now an internationally successful motivational speaker, Nick eagerly spreads his central message: The most important goal is to find your life’s purpose and to never give up, despite whatever difficulties or seemingly impossible odds stand in your way. Nick tells the story of his physical disabilities and the emotional battle he endured while learning to deal with them as a child, teen, and young adult…”

This book was one of the most uplifting and inspiring books that I have ever come across. I am so glad that I chose to read it. Nick’s testimony was definitely one that I have never heard before. My spirit was greatly uplifted by the time I finished this book. After reading the first few chapters of this novel I felt terrible at how I occasionally complain about my life and throw  myself pity parties. Nick grew up with no arms and legs, yet he is extremely grateful for everything that he has. His faith in the Lord is immovable. When tough times come his way, he has absolutely no doubt that something better will come of it. On top of his admirable faith he has a great sense of humor! Not many people would joke about themselves the way he does. He is definitely a role model that others should look up to and strive to be like. Nick is a great person who loves Jesus with all of his heart! Not only was this book very uplifting but it also was a great reminder of how much Jesus has blessed us. Nick includes his visits to other countries and different people’s testimonies within his novel and their lives are not as glamorous as ours, yet their faith in Jesus is unwavering. I feel like we, especially me, could all learn something from those that are less fortunate than us. While we complain about our clothes or the homes that we live in, those people have nothing yet they are so much happier and blessed than we are. We may be blessed with more worldly possessions but they are blessed with more faith. This is one of my favorite books and I hope that you will find the inspiration within these pages that I have. God bless you!
