This summer has been a good one for me. Not much happened but it was nice to be able to sit back and relax. As you may have already seen I did manage to go on a trip this summer to Myrtle Beach (Myrtle Beach, South Carolina 2014). If you have already checked out my post about our trip there then you’ll probably notice that this picture looks similar to another one in that post. As I was looking for a picture to add to this post I realized that the last time I used my camera was in June. So this is actually one of the most recent photos I have of me. I hope you like it! 🙂 I did take one online class this summer but it wasn’t too long, only two months, so my summer was still pretty laid back. I was fortunate enough to be able to go see my family every weekend and I know how much they enjoyed having me home for three days each week. At least that’s how I like to think of it 🙂 They’d probably say I was more of a nuisance than anything else but I know that they miss seeing me every weekend (right Daniel?)! Classes officially started last Monday, August 25th. As much as I didn’t want summer to end I was ready to go back to school. In order for me to be on track on my four-year plan I had to take 18 credits this semester. I’ve heard horror stories about semesters like this but so far it’s good. Then again it is only the second week of classes and I do like to have my reading and homework done in advance just in case something comes up and I don’t have enough time to do it during the week. On top of my classes I decided to continue working at my two jobs. Some people think I’m crazy for doing this but Jesus is giving me the strength that I need! As long as I have Him by my side then I have absolutely nothing to worry about. He will always be with me! 🙂 I do have a weekend trip planned for next week and the only thing I will say about it is that I am really, really, really excited to go!! Hopefully I’ll have new pictures then. I’m not going to make any promises when it comes to blogging but I will try to blog once a week. I don’t have a lot of extra time to do much leisurely reading but I’m hoping to be able to read a book a week. Or at least write a post once a week. Well, I wish you all a blessed semester and a wonderful September! God bless you all!!
