MSC Caribbean Cruise March 2017

Sailing to Mexico

Hey guys! Guess where I went on vacation at the end of March??? I went on a cruise to the Caribbean!!! It was amazing!! I highly recommend going on one if you ever get the chance! Once I got back home I was ready to book my next cruise because I did not want to leave. The crew members on board the cruise were extremely polite and very helpful. Anything you needed or any question you had, they were able to provide you with it. When people say it is a city on the ocean, they mean it is a legit city on the ocean. They had everything there! But anyway, let me start from the beginning and tell you all about my experience. It is one that I’m sure not many people are able to say they had nor is it one that I am hoping to experience again. But a cruise is definitely something that I would go on again!! Continue reading

Message in a Bottle by Nicholas Sparks

“Theresa Osborne is divorced and disillusioned, but that is all about to change when she finds a bottle on the beach with a mysterious love letter inside. What happens next is unexpected, and perhaps even miraculous – for it embraces all our hopes for finding someone special, for having a love that is timeless and everlasting…”

The love story in this novel was so inspiring and full of passion. Even though it was a fictional story, and maybe these stories really do only belong in books but, it reassures one that someday, somewhere, they’ll find their own Garrett. It’s like the saying “every love story is great but ours is my favorite.” Until one has their own true love story, they are going to admire others. Although the book is basically about two people who fall in love, it also deals with loss and death. It’s hard to feel empathy towards someone who has lost a dear one unless you yourself have as well. One can only imagine the emotions that come with it, but when you experience them yourself you fully understand the thoughts and feelings of others. Garrett’s heartbreak over his wife’s death almost broke my heart. Continue reading

True Believer by Nicholas Sparks

Image “Jeremy Marsh is a born skeptic and a science journalist who specializes in debunking the  supernatural.  When he hears about ghostly apparitions in a cemetery in Boone Creek, North  Carolina, he leaves his  beloved New York City for this small rural town – and what his instincts tell  him could make a great  story. What he doesn’t plan on is meeting and falling hopelessly in love with  Lexie Darnell, who is sure  of one think: her future is here in Boone Creek…”

I am a huge fan of Nicholas Sparks and would recommend any book that he has written to anyone. He  is  an extremely gifted writer that knows how to draw readers in. This book was similar to some of the  other  novels that he has written; in the sense that it takes place close to the beach and involves a love  story.  This novel is definitely one that you will not be able to put down once you start reading it. The  mystery  within the story will keep you guessing, and once it is revealed makes you rethink your  previous  opinions. When you discover the cause of the mysterious lights and think that the book is  over, it’s not. There are still a few chapters left. Nicholas Sparks ends this novel in a way that is unexpected, yet fitting. The love story within the book is very sweet and female readers will absolutely love it. I highly recommend reading this title!
